Feasibility and Effectiveness of Mixed-Reality Cognitive and Physical Training Intervention in Community-Dwelling Older Adults with Cognitive Frailty Symptoms
The purpose of this study is three-fold: (1) This study aimed to examine feasibility and acceptability of the 8-week Mixed-Reality Cognitive and Physical Training (MR-CPT) intervention in older adults with cognitive frailty symptoms; (2) This study investigated effectiveness of the 8-week MR-CPT intervention and the 8-week multicomponent exercise plus Tai Chi (ME+TC) intervention on cognitive and physical function in older adults with cognitive frailty symptoms; and (3) this study compared the effectiveness of the 8-week MR-CPT intervention with the 8-week ME+TC intervention on physical activity behaviors and these changes in physical activity behaviors associated with changes in cognitive function among older adults.
